a brand of SOLIT Management GmbH, has been named Germany’s best precious metals
dealer for 2025 by the German Customer Institute (DKI) on behalf of BÖRSE ONLINE. For
the 13th time, the DKI examined the industry’s leading providers—and GoldSilberShop.de
came out on top in both the overall ranking and the additional category of scrap gold
purchasing.
Comprehensive evaluation with 345 individual criteria
Between July and September 2025, nine renowned precious metal dealers were put
through their paces based on 345 individual criteria. The main evaluation comprised four
core categories, each of which contributed to the overall result to varying degrees: Terms
and Conditions (30%), Trading (20%), Transparency & Security (30%), and Customer
Service (20%)
In addition, the purchase of scrap gold was evaluated separately, though outside the main
ranking. In total, the testers documented 153 real customer interactions.
Top marks for transparency and security
GoldSilberShop.de was particularly impressive in the “Transparency & Security” category,
where the company achieved the top score of 100 out of 100 points. Among other things,
the evaluation assessed the timeliness of price information throughout the entire
ordering process, discreet shipping, the security of online payment processes, and the
disclosure of financial metrics.
Particular praise was given to the continuous price updates throughout the entire
ordering process and the neutral packaging of all shipments. For orders with a value of
500 euros or more, shipping is always handled by a secure courier service.
Also outstanding in scrap gold purchasing
GoldSilberShop.de also took the top spot in the supplementary ranking for scrap gold
purchasing. The DKI praised the wide range of items accepted, which extends from dental
gold to solid gold items and semi-finished products. Additionally, all submitted products
are professionally analyzed—including a detailed breakdown of the precious metals
contained, such as platinum and palladium, for which the full value is reimbursed.
